Ibrahim Alladin was born in Mauritius and educated in England, Canada and Australia. He graduated from the University of East London with an honour’s degree in Sociology and Public Administration. After spending nine years in England, he joined the University of Alberta and obtained a master’s degree in Education. He got his PhD in Melbourne, Australia. A Paul Harris Fellow, Ibrahim is a social activist, philanthropist and writer. He has received numerous awards and recognition for his campaigns. His work has taken him to over fifty-five countries and has witnessed social injustices, human suffering and inequality. His motto is “Giving is divine”.
